Altitude: Chame (2,670m/8,760ft)
After an early breakfast, participants will embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar, which takes approximately 6-7 hours. The journey offers mesmerizing views of terraced fields and lush landscapes. From Besishahar, a jeep ride will take trekkers to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. This drive provides stunning vistas of the Marsyangdi River and surrounding mountains.
Altitude: Lamjung Himal Base Camp (3,500m/11,482ft)
The trek begins from Chame as participants follow a well-defined trail through picturesque pine forests and charming villages. The journey takes about 5-6 hours and includes moderate ascents. Trekkers will have opportunities to enjoy breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal along the way. Upon reaching Lamjung Himal Base Camp, trekkers will set up camp for the night.
Altitude: Love Lake (4,200m/13,780ft)
After breakfast, trekkers will continue their ascent towards Love Lake. This section of the trek is more challenging due to rocky terrain and higher altitudes. On this day, trekkers will descend from Lamjung Himal Base Camp back to Chame. This trek takes approximately 5-6 hours as they navigate familiar trails through lush forests and charming villages. Upon reaching Chame, trekkers can relax and enjoy local hospitality in nearby tea houses or lodges.
After breakfast in Chame, participants will take a jeep ride back to Besishahar before continuing their drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes about 7-8 hours in total. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, travelers can spend their final evening shopping for souvenirs or enjoying a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
